  I sorta think its a non issue . I believe the Fed could destroy money as easily as create it if need be. The balance sheets value could decay to a fraction of its size on its own.
  
  Lets face it , the Fed is basically a hedge fun stuffed full of junk bond caliber MBS . They have already taken steps to obfuscate what they have by retiring the original CUSIP numbers for most of the garbage they bought during the MBS portion of QE .

  Maybe they can cut the top of the curtain they're hiding behind pulling the strings, sew it to the bottom of it, and then they can convince the public that the curtain is bigger, again.
