Golden State Coin Show (Arcadia) Aug 25-26, 2012!
This show has been going on for many years and is a nice mid-sized show, about 75 dealers. I'll be set up there - anyone else going?

One of the big coin supply companies was there set up too which is always great to see at a local show as most collectors and even the dealers need supplies and it's very handy to have them in the room. In another room in the building... Walt Ostromecki, ANA Board member who just ended his term as ANA President, led a Boy Scout merit badge workshop today that brought in over 70 boy scouts which was really great to see. Most of them made their way over to the coin show across the hall too.
Tomorrow, Sunday 8/23/15, the show will still be on and in the afternoon the NASC (Numismatic Association of Southern California) who puts on the show will be raffling off 35 gold coins!!!!! It's around $3000 worth of coins and local coin clubs all throughout Southern California have been selling raffle tickets for the past couple of months. It's a big fundraiser raffle put on by the NASC and all of the proceeds go right back to the various member coin clubs of the NASC. And of course many win gold too. The top prize given out tomorrow will be a $10 Liberty in NGC MS61 and you can still buy tickets at the show (need not be present at the draw to win).
If you're in SoCal and want to have some coin fun Sunday, come out to the show!!!
