Why coin dealers drink, Part CCCCXXXII

From the dealer-to-dealer network:
“Fleabay canceled a National Bank note I had listed. Said they did it for my
own good and I could relist it when I had it registered and certified by a
recognized expert. It has been listed many times and continually over the
last year or so.”
Somebody asked him a question about the note, and he replied:
“(They) Said they were just protecting me
from myself in case it sold and someone down the line claimed it was fake.
This was from Reginaldo from wherever they outsource their call center to.”
Somebody else asked another question about the note, and whether the multiple relistings was a problem, and he responded:
“It was a second charter (town where the dealer lives) note.
No, they said that had nothing to do with it. There were no complaints
either. They said they peruse the listings looking for potential trouble and
all I have to do is get the note certified by a recognized expert to show
that the note is genuine.
And then Reginaldo sent me an email refreshing my memory on eBay's listing
policy for coins and currency. I responded that I don't see the one I
violated listed there and could he please point it out but that was yesterday
and he never responded.”
I have known this guy for 30 years. He knows what he is doing.

When they start protecting the customers of the guys that sell counterfeit stuff, then I'll be impressed.

If that is the excuse why he drinks, he simply likes to drink.
Thank goodness eBay did away with that panel of so called experts. Listings used to be cancelled left and right. Every single one, and I mean every one of mine that were cancelled because of that group of people, were genuine coins. Too much time on their hands.
