Ebay mobile app - does anyone know how to permanently set search Sort Order??

This is coin related as it pertains to searching for coins on Ebay.
My phone is an Android and the Ebay app works decently, but my one BIG gripe is that all of my Followed Searches sort orders have been changed to Ebay's utterly useless "Best Match". Each time I do a search I have to use Refine Search to manually reset the Sort Order to Newly Listed. It sorts fine but won't save. The little "Lock" has no effect. The next time I do the search it's back on "Best Match". As we all too aware, "Best Match" is just a way to award Ebay's favorite sellers and is irrelevant for specific coin searches.

Yes. Just go to the "Sort" box dropdown, select "Newly Listed". Your search should now display in newly listed order. Now, select "Follow this search". The saved search will now default to "Newly Listed" each time you pull it up

The problem is that you have security settings on high for your browser - i.e. it deletes your session cookies after you close the browser (cookies just store info about your session such as sort by in the chocolate chips)
As for the OP question, it's not a functionality supported by the app right now so when you turn off your phone or kill the application the session information is terminated.
