Hopefully the display will be a little more educational and enjoyable than so many others where you are trying to view ONE SIDE of a small coin from several feet away. That has never made any sense to me at all. I saw a 1913 V Nickel displayed like that in a giant plexiglass box. It was a 100% waste of 10 seconds of my time to even attempt to take a look. Heck, I was so far away that I could not even read the date on the coin. Why bother? Especially because I had the wonderful fortune of holding another 1913 V Nickel in hand at Heritage lot viewing at Winter FUN 2014. Security was around, I had a great experience that I was able to share with my daughter. This is the only way to do a really nice, educational display of such wonderful material.

<< <i>Thx to both Simpson and PCGS for sharing. These exhibits are not cheap (or logistically easy) to put together. >>
I absolutely agree. Thanks to them for sharing these rarities with everyone. It is NOT easy or cheap to put displays together...save the money on the displays, hire security and do it in a pseudo lot viewing situation. Maybe add another partner like Heritage and allow the viewing within their environment?

"there behind the glass stands a real blade of glass...becareful as you pass...move along...move along"
Maybe the ANA has market research indicating that the 1913 nickel pulls in the public......kinda doubt it though.
Now, a whole set of Stellas - that is something I haven't seen.

<< <i>This will be one of the coolest displays we have ever done. The coins (patterns) are fabulous! >>
I won't be able to be at ANA but maybe the generosity will be expanded to include the display at Winter FUN? Fingers are crossed. I hope the display is a big hit with collectors.
