Gordian III Bug

A new idea is tickling my head. Some sort of collection of Gordian III. I always have had a special fondness for this emperor. An antoninianus, of his, purchased when I probably was about 12 years old, for $3.50, would have been my first venture outside the realm of Lincoln pennies. Every time I see his bust, I grow nostalgic. The issue, however, is how to put a tight boundary on the theme. Thinking of using my old Sears reference from when I was a youth.
Sort of feel the same way about Severus Alexander; my first larger bronze. Ah well, still just a thought. Too many themes, already.

Severus Alexander and Gordian III are certainly both very obtainable, and even high grade examples of their silver coins can be had without straying into three-figure pricetag territory.

Gordian III is one of the cheapest emperors to assemble a set of, even in bronze and provincials. I know a few people who solely collect him. I myself get bored of him cause he is so common but most of his coinage is well done and can be budget minded.
