Playing with images and using different software

I am working on improving the eye appeal of my site which will be a long work in progress, but am also playing with some new software. I think my images look much better and I like the way I can do this

Dave, I think that is an improvement. I like it a lot better.

I also like somewhat smaller images. I think you have been posting 1000x1000 and I think 600x600 is a better presentation.

I agree with previous commenter. Not enough contrast between text and background makes text hard to read.

The text has nothing to do with anything. It is just me playing and can be changed to whatever I want. The big picture is I made my images better, and the blue is just the color background on my site and can be anything I want for posting here. The size is also rather arbitrary as well
