    Call me a noob, but the mint didnt put "$5" on these back then or am I missing something? Interesting coin!

    You are correct. It is not labeled as a $5 piece. I'm not sure just why.

    Beautiful gold coin! I've never seen one of those before. Wish I had the $. Any way for PCGS to tell how/why they graded it as they did?

    They do not give an explanation... butr I was able to find out this little tidbit
