Lincoln cent collector groups, forums, and similar resources

Here at Whitman Publishing we're busy working on the next volume of
the Cherrypickers' Guide to Rare Die Varieties.

Whitman publisher Dennis Tucker, associate editor John McCurdy, and
Cherrypickers' Guide coauthor Bill Fivaz on a conference call with
6th edition, volume I editor Mike Ellis and variety specialist James Wiles,
March 19, 2015.
For several coin types and denominations there are specialty clubs and
societies --- Early American Coppers for half cents and large cents, the
Fly-In Club for Flying Eagle and Indian Head cents, the Liberty Seated
Collectors Club, et al.
Are there any such clubs specifically for Lincoln cents? Or maybe online
forums that are frequented by Lincoln specialists?

that gives a bit of background, and lists the standard references for that series and any collector
groups. I want to give new collectors as many resources as possible.
Some series don't have a club devoted specifically to them (for example, two-cent pieces or
trimes). But I knew there are some good "message board"-type destinations online for Lincoln
cents. Thanks for the links.
Lincoln Cents, 1909 to Date
Lincoln cent die varieties are, without a doubt, the most widely collected
in today’s numismatics. While some varieties in other series might be
somewhat difficult to sell, that is not necessarily the case with Lincoln
cents. They are always popular, and always in demand. The series is
alive and kickin’, with new die varieties being brought to the hobby’s
attention every year. We encourage collectors to dig into this rich field.
A list of the books that we highly recommend for further study of varieties
would have to begin with The Authoritative Reference on Lincoln Cents, by
John A. Wexler and Kevin Flynn. Loaded with photos of varieties, this is a
treasure trove for the enthusiast. Others include The RPM Book, Second Edition:
Lincoln Cents, by James Wiles; The Complete Price Guide and Cross Reference
to Lincoln Cent Mint Mark Varieties, by John A. Wexler and Brian Allen; and A
Quick Reference to the Top Lincoln Cent Die Varieties, by Gary Wagnon,
Karen Peterson, and Kevin Flynn.
If you’re interested in more general books on the Lincoln cent, an excellent
one is The Complete Guide to Lincoln Cents, by David W. Lange. Sol Taylor’s
Standard Guide to the Lincoln Cent, fourth edition, and Q. David Bowers’s
Guide Book of Lincoln Cents are also both wonderful choices.
There is no national club or organization dedicated to the Lincoln cent—an
opportunity for enthusiastic cherrypickers to start one up and make their
mark on the hobby! However, Lincoln cents and their die varieties are often
discussed in online forums like the Collectors Universe Message Boards
(forums.collectors.com) and the Collectors Society Message Boards
(boards.collectors-society.com). The Lincoln Cent Forum (www.lincolncentforum.com)
is an active online community for all kinds of related discussion. James Wiles’s “Variety
Vista” Web site (www.varietyvista.com) is a resource for ongoing research on many
kinds of die varieties, and the Lincoln Cent Resource (www.lincolncentresource.com)
is devoted specifically to Lincoln cent doubled dies, repunched mintmarks, over mintmarks,
large and small dates, wide AM’s, and other varieties in the series.
