That 3% paypal charges in order to have that extra layer of buyer protection is looking like a great deal right about now.

All I can say is.......WOW! This seller has a seriously deep Internet Life.

jclovescoins, can you post the screen shot of the original BST Thread since jabbss651 has cleared it?

Also, share the video on UTube as I don't think it will affect the outcome of this particular action. If this person (could be a man or a woman) has scammed other folks using the Internet, then this is most certainly a Federal Matter.

If the USPS has been used with regularity then USPS will definitely want to know about it.

Thank You for bringing this out as it will save other folks from making the mistake of using PPG AND from dealing with this individual.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

PayPal has nothing to do with it...lol...
PayPal was a choice, made by buyer... PayPal huh?, did PayPal buy or sell any coins?, amazing the rhetoric ....

And I bet the USPS has an express window in its Wash DC building for these special circumstances and are open 24hrs a day to hand out some type reckoning...lol

Oh yea the Feds are inundated with high crimes and misdemeanors such as this, look for a poster of this guy on their most wanted list...
Without doubt a high priority case...

<< <i>...The postal inspector is the general branch that investigates fraud or other possible criminal activity involving the USPS. >>

While that's generally true, my local USPS PI told me the local town branches do not investigate internet mail fraud. Those complaints get uploaded to the govt's website where a regional investigator/inspector deems whether a case(s) are worthy or not. My local PI said he could do nothing for me except give me their internet crimes website address to upload my complaint. It ain't the 1980's any more. Being "responsible" for something and actually doing something about it are 2 totally different things. What I learned is that if you want to do internet mail fraud....the Atlanta area is a good one to work out of. >>

I was just trying to point out to rawteam that while the name says inspector, that doesn't necessarily mean that's what they do. They don't inspect anything. The OIG "Office of Inspector General" likely derives its name from the use of Inspector as a police rank. >>

Let me introduce you to a dictionary.... Look up humor... >>

Actually, I looked up lame and your posts showed up.image

PayPal wouldn't have bought or sold any coins if he had used the fee based option, but had he dotted their iii-s, crossed their tees and paid their 3% he would have had protection. The USPS likely won't do much for one case of fraud, but if he can show a pattern of it and get his postmaster to go to bat for him, he might get some action.

I am not a lawyer but I've filed some small claims actions in the past...this one seems to be a no brainer.
You have pretty much all the ammo you need to make a full recovery.

Even if it was his dodgy "d-bag" buddy who stole the stuff from the package and replaced it with the face value junk, that's the seller's problem, not yours. Your claim stands against the seller. He would then have to go after his friend, who was acting as his agent for purposes of mailing the package.

At any rate, make it abundantly clear to the seller that you are going to make him your new hobby until you are refunded.

for the OP it is now time imo for you to go for the gusto! Put this guys info up on this forum and EVERY other forum you know he has done deals on. Let everyone know who has been taken by this low life to contact you in order to get a multi complaint together. This will make things run much quicker, will get the biggest results, and will put this guy where he belongs! In all the sour deals I've heard of over the last 15+ years on the net, this guy takes the cake! He deserves what's coming to him!

"Small claims" they yell, as a scream from the other direction a bit louder, "multiple complaint", the haunting mantra's incite the crowd...
The OP plans revenge, thinking he has a legal wooden leg to stand on, he sits ... He plans... He spews forth some ideological theory of law as the minions chant "go to court, go to court..." With a refrain of "make him pay, make him pay"......

All the while, a guy sits in his back yard smoking a Cuban cigar and drinking a Heineken...planning his next move, while thinking intently while blowing smoke rings from his fine maduro, he lets out a wry smile...

The OP and his minions rage on, as emotions of how can I make someone else pay for my mistake multiply...
as more minions are adding to the plan of all out legal attack...
The thought of losing 4,5,6 hundred bucks is a astronomical nightmare that seemed impossible just a few moments ago, as visions of grandeur were deeply entrenched on the possibility and probability of getting a great deal that would empower the deal maker in his quest for personal greatness...

As we pan out, no one knows if the OP will come to his senses or the seemingly minor ordeal turns into a bitter road that leads to insanity...
