A shipping label for an eBay item costs the same whether you print it thru eBay or PayPal. If I sell a coin on the BST I can use PP to print the label even if PP had NO PART in the transaction. You get the same discount/price as you would through the USPS site with the exception that PP will let you print labels for first class packages whereas the USPS site limits you to priority mail shipping or higher. >>

Wait.. What??? How do you create a shipping label in PP when there is no PP transaction? I don't have this ability when I log into PayPal. You must have the deluxe package.

What a weird thread. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Halfway was kaleycook2013.

Its great watching a member who joined in January (of this year) arguing with a member who joined in February (also of this year).....Also, learned alternate ways of spelling Nub, Nube, Newb, etc

Not sure but if the only description is from ebay and it was not bought on ebay then that might rule out a SNAD so if something gets delivered paypal may consider it a done deal. Referring paypal to the ebay desc might be admitting breaking their TOS. Although ebay/paypal were together and then splitting so I have no idea if breaking ebays TOS is breaking paypals TOS. I'm not sure, tell us what they say.

The other way out is a CC chargeback IF a credit card was used.

Glad that I could be so entertaining for you. Just some inane posting on a meretricious thread.

You can ship anything through paypal using MultiOrder shipping. I use it to send things to my family at christmas . You don't need a transaction

If you paid thru PP and they got their fee, why would they care if you went outside of eBay? If payment was for a specific item as derryb suggested, there would be grounds for a SNAD thru PP.

<< <i>This listing reeked of a scam from the get-go. Seller with no prior coin selling history is a HUGE red flag! If it wasn't a hijacked account, it certainly was suspicious. It was enough to cause me to ignore it right away. As you become more experienced with Ebay, you'll get better - or broke. The obvious scams like this one are easy to spot when you know what to look for. There are great deals to be had on Ebay, but you gotta know what you're up against! >>

<< <i>Hey Halfway here is another deal for you to get a deal on, wounded eagles. link

As you can see I am not the only one that found this a little bit off.

At least my ignorance keeps me from such obvious listing as that one and I never had to make an off ebay deal to scam the other bidders out of the opertunity to own a 15,000.00 coin for 1,000.00 lol >>

I'm okay nube, thanks. image >>

Looks the buyer was hoping the seller was a chump, only to have the tables turned on the buyer

Thank you Halfway for outing Kaley as a bad seller to watch out for.

In all fairness, could you also post your eBay handle as I am sure I am not the only seller who would be leary of a buyer who
-asks to cancel an eBay auction and buy off eBay (eBay charges fees for cancelled auction to point of highest bid after the first per year)
-complains that their picture and description is stolen and wants more
-complains that tracking info was not uploaded within 24 hours (not sure if that was part of your negotiations)
-calls PAYPAL and wants money back withiin 2 days of sale
-threatens a lawsuit if no refund
-name calls and disparages other posters in your started threads

I would also like to see the OP invite the seller to give their side of the story.

If you have a personal account like I still do, you can't access the label generator through that link. The only way I know how to get to it is to use the shipnow. I can't access the label generator if I log in to my account in the normal fashion either. It seems strange that PP doesn't seem to have a site map on the bottom of their page.

I suspect I have a personal account and have it - the link supplied does not work for me either.

On Summary page on the left side, it has balance, then lower Banks and Cards, then lower Selling Toold

In the Selling Tools section, the second down is
    MultiOrder Shipping

hit this and it takes you to another screen and you have to manually enter all data - but have PAYPAL shipping

I also think it's sad that some care too much about this simple thread.
