(European) QE vs. Gold

In January the ECB announced an open-ended 60B-Euro/month bond buying program. Will the QE infused Eurozone enjoy the same performance the US Markets have since 2009?

IEV: ETF of the Euro 350 @ 45.29
Gold @ $1,213.10

Which will be higher by September 2016*: QE or Gold?

*First timeline benchmark set by the ECB.

It seems (to me) that most here understand the markets far better than I do - and I am sure I will be surprised by whatever happens. However, looking at the economic picture as a whole, it would appear that gold is due for an upward run....JMHO...Cheers, RickO

Euro falls below $1.10 for first time since 2003. $1.1 TRILL of ECB quantitative easing? How now brown cow?

european QE should create higher gold prices when measured in euros. Does not necessarily raise gold price in dollars.
