1943-S/S MERCURY DIME FINE RPM?

Just cherried this coin last weekend. I am starting to venture into the dime varities as the nickles seem to be all cherried out. Don't get me wrong I'll still be looking but my main focus will be dimes.

Anyone with an RPM#? If new, who should I send it to?

CPG lists a CONECA RPM-001. with similar positioning to yours and calls it an S/S/S/S, with secondary mintmarks visible north, NE, and SW of the primary S. Can't tell from the image but the north mintmark appears identical to yours.

Very neat!

There are 4 1943-S RPMs listed here with good pics (scroll down a little under the "D's") as well as other identifying marks/PUPs on the coin. I tend to lean towards RPM-001, but see if you can match the rest of the coin to any other markers.

That is the FS501 that is in the CPG.

Look for the Roosies too! Especially the 1967 DDO and the 1983-D RPM FS501.

And both 1946 DDR's and both 1947-D DDO's.

Congrats on the FS501 find. I too have found a few low grade examples in the wild.

Cherry pick Roosies as they are tough to find some of them. Look for the ones the DIMEMAN listed.
