True View Premium

First off I want to thank the host for putting up the Coin Album in the Registry Set. It is a good way to show off my coins without having to go to the safe deposit box and look at them one at a time. Some of my coins have a True View, that I submitted and some that I have bought at shows do not have a True View and I may just send them in so I can get the True View. The coins without the True View I have taken photos with my camera but the lighting is different and they just don't look as good as a True View. So when I buy a coin at a coin show I always wonder if a True View exists and can I have the True View if I buy the coin?
What I would propose to PCGS it to add a small icon on the label maybe a "TV" initial to indicate that a True View is available if you buy this coin. Now I don't know if there are security issues since you do not own the True View, only the person that originally sent in the coin can have access to the True View, but I would also add a 3 or 4 digit number/alpha character on the back so you can go to PCGS and type in the coin number and if you want the True View, you have to enter the 3 or 4 digit number/alpha character on the back of the coin. This way you have to actually have possession of the coin in order to retrieve the True View.
Or if you add the coin to your Registry Set it will automatically add the True View if you wish. Would a coin with a True View have a small premium if it was available? Let's say you are looking at two coins that are the same grade and look very similar. One was priced at $175 and no True View was available and the other coin was priced at $200 and it came with a True View, would you spend the extra $25 for the True View? If you bought the $175 coin and sent it in for a True View you have to pay $10 for reholder, $10 for the True View, probably $3 to ship and then $20 for handling fees, shipping back. So the True View coin in this case would bring a premium to the coin.

Phil and crew been busy these last few years.
BTW TV's do show in the Registry even if you bought the coin from somebody else. I have several that show the TV and my images.
Check out my iPhone app SlabReader!
<< <i>I took a poll here a while back about adding a TV or some kind of marking on the slab and I think the board was split down the middle. I still thinks it would be a good idea, but thats me and I love the TV service.

I don't remember how I felt about it back then but I like the idea now. As long as it was neatly fit in. There's too much on the slab front already. I would work it into the coin number line
with simply a "T" like: 5039.66T/12345678
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
