Does a submission like this effect prices or is it just a drop in the bucket?

These may be crack-outs, crossovers or attempts for + and upgrades on already holdered coins. Love to see some of those pictures!

Since the op sent them in, I will ask a question he can answer .... were they sent in raw?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

pops are high enough on those that it shouldn't impact prices at all... unless you tried to sell them in one group lot or something.

You're talking about less than 1% of the PCGS population. Shouldn't affect prices unless you want to sell them all at once right now.

All from the same place and raw.

Know anyone doing a 1935 set? I can hook them up big time.

Naw drop in the bucket. Might be lucky and find a home for a couple of them. There's 240 of the 67fb already.

So, the pops go up a little, but not too noticeably.
The only real price effect I would see would be on you, the seller, if you put them all in the same auction, or too close together.

I would space them out a bit and maybe only put 2-3 for sale at any particular time....notably different grades when possible.
Putting all 4 of the 67FB for sale, same venue, same time, would be a recipe for lower prices. Putting the 66, 67, 66FB, and 67FB may not be as bad.

    A drop in the bucket.

The other effect is that it kicks more coins out from the lower end into the dreck pile. We're probably at the point that anything lower than a 1935 MS67FB merc is too common. As the years continue on, the MS67FB
will probably become "too common" for many collectors (ie as more 67's end up in 67+ holders). The MS67+ or MS68 specimens will be the ones that count.

Only thing that disappointed me about this massive group of coins is the date range. 35-37 almost all P mint, there were a handful of quarters with D mint which graded 66 so those were nice. Every coin I as I was taking them out of the envelopes I was praying for mint marks. Still have the Classic Commems to send in, no big rush on those as the value isnt there right now. Sent in 20 pieces of gold almost all MS no keys just a really really nice accumulation. I think most all of the coins were collected in the 40's from the storage and prices listed on the envelopes. Ill have to get some pics of these coins for you guys eventually.
