Ian Russel's Interview on "Larry King Now"

I seen this posted on another forum, but didn't see any discussion about it here.

CoinWorld posted a short article (w/video) of the interview Ian Russel did with Larry King on his show "Larry King Now." In the interview Ian discusses how he got into coin collecting, how Great Collections operates, as well as coin rarities and values, etc.

At times the interview seemed rushed by Larry King, but overall it was very enjoyable to watch. You really get a sense of the passion Ian has for coins, and GreatCollections.

Edit: I just finished watching the entire interview. That was pretty cool. Ian did a great job and some of Larry's questions were funny...like, "Who's on the quarter, Franklin?" Lol

Did Larry use the 1907 high relief as a coaster for his mug?

It's a good interview, and interesting. I've always like Larry King, back to when he was on radio.

It definitely had the feel of an infomercial, but I don't care, I still liked it a lot.

I think it served our hobby well.

Watched it all and Ian responded as expected. Kinda surprised that he's an Aussie though soince I've never heard him speak and it never came up before.

As an aside, I have never been a fan of Larry King. Couldn't stand him as he always appeared to simply be reading questions which were written out for him with no conscious thought behind what was being asked.

However, this interview showed him as more of an actual interviewer instead of a show business go between. I enjoyed his candor and relative ignorance about coins. I'd watch more if they were there!
