I'd actually never seen a type 1 $10 until now. I didn't realize it was a 2 year subtype. That's a beautiful design, I wonder why they changed it.

How hard are these to find? I might have to branch out into gold!

Thanks for the pics everyone! The coins I posted were all bought raw a dozen years or so ago and graded by PCGS or NGC around that time. The 91-cc is graded MS62, the 1899 is graded MS64 and the three auction coins graded 62-63 if my Memory is right? Still have the 91-cc and 1899

I only own one these days since if it doesn't have a mint error it doesn't fit...

1901-O $10 with the largest obverse lamination known on top and a smaller in front of Ms. Liberty's eye.
