Do you have a subscription with the U.S. Mint? If so, read this!

VISA sent me a new credit card because of a security breech at one of the merchants where I used this card (probably Home Depot). So, I called the U.S. Mint customer service to update my credit card information. I have a subscription for the 5 oz silver ATB coins and I didn't want to miss any future issues. The mint just had a blackout period where they updated their software so I thought I better check to make sure that my subscription was still in effect. They told me that they had no record of any subscription so I had them reinstate my subscription. If any of you have a mint subscription you may want to verify that it's still in effect after this computer software upgrade or you may risk missing an issue.

So what ever happened with your Mint subscription? Over on the dealer network somebody is complaining that he had a subscription for 99 of the Proof silver eagles for store stock and he just got charged full retail for them.

The mint dropped the discount for mint subscribers a few months ago. It was good while it lasted.
