If you collect Bust Half Dollars, you must see this catalog

Sheridan Downey just announced his catalog for a FUN auction of bust halves. There are some bust dimes and early quarters at the end of the sale too.

The photography is outstanding!

I have no financial interest in this auction whatsoever. Link will take you to his web site and open the PDF.

Part II has a number of more affordable Busties in nice PCGS AU grades, including many REDBOOK varieties. Sheridan Downey always manages to get special consignments from serious Bust Half Dollar collectors. Some of the auction lots have been hidden in collections for over twenty years.
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

If you didn't see Steve Davis' December 1 sale (Numismatic Auctions LLC) you missed a hell of a run of Bust Halfs.

The Money Tree Capped Bust Half Collection viewable here.

Wow, that 1824/1 O.102 is terrific! Condition census? Must be.

There are a few in that group I have my eye on. Of course, the value of most far exceed my budget.
