Hotel rooms at FUN show

I picked up a room at the Rosen Centre for $99 per night. Wednesday night check in .......Saturday checkout. Did I do ok?

I understand the Rosen Plaza had rooms for $69 but they were sold out when I checked.

How much were the other hotels this time around?

When I went down there I arrived on Monday and stayed till Saturday. I was at the show for 3 days and the rest was with family. I stayed at Florida Sun condos in Kissimmee which was just a short drive away and more near the attractions for everyone else. It was a 2 bed room(4bed) 2 bathroom condo in a gated community for $550 or less for 6 nights. During Jan-march is the slow period for the theme parks so rates are lower. Also the weather is bearable.

Rosen is fine. Decent place and location.

Which location will FUN be at this JANUARY ? The North/South Complex or
The West Concourse that had the Summer FUN shows ?

No, you did not do OK.

    You did ... great!

Your hotel is quite nice, is within easy walking distance of the show, and you got it cheaper than anyone I am aware of (including me!).

My room is in the Rosen Pointe Orlando.
Is that too far to walk?

W/o consulting a map or knowing your physical condition, I would state even if you have a car and choose to drive from your hotel
to the show, keep in mind you will likely have > a quarter mile walk from your parking spot to the actual show entrance...

Well I gambled with priceline and am not sure if I won or lost! I got the Westgate Lake Resort and Spa. I have stayed there before and it was nice but that was a while back. Total cost after taxes and resort fees was $86 per night.
