NEWPs: Tiny Greeks & a Zuz
Zohar

The first two are super TINY and I didn't realize how small they were until I picked them out raw prior to sending to NGC. These are of the earlier coinage made. What is quite amazing is the minute size of the planchet when compared with the obverse and reverse engraving. Not only a challenge engraving such tiny designs but getting then centered is quite a feat. Also added another 3rd year revolt Judaean Bar Kochba Zuz to pair with my year 2 - Zuz Year 2

Many people pass up small coins because of their size but the artistry is often as good or better than their larger counterparts and with magnification, they can be enjoyed just as easily.
Here it is before I liberated it from the plastic:

Love them all actually
So Z., I'm going to ask you: how many coins have you bought so far in 2014 alone?
And no, sales do not count as minus one, two, three etc.

You should build an extra firewall to protect your numismatic activities and this forum from the wife.

It makes sense, given the fact that not a week goes by without a thread in the first page with newps by you, sometimes more than one thread, sometimes a thread with more than one coin!

No but seriously, that's a great accomplishment. Many years I could not say that. Too many. This year I think I'm doing alright in some areas. Still have not lost the 20lbs that follow me everywhere. But I have managed to fill some spots in my collection. IIRC, my resolution was to buy a few big instead of numerous small. I've definitely bought some big (by my standards, anyway).
