    What the heck is going on with this seller?

    EDIT to add: DANG just tried to send a question and it auto fills in your actual name and account contact phone number and will not let you send a msg without that being filled in. How the heck do you get that option on ebay as I have never seen that before.

    If you click on one of the items to pay using credit card it takes you outside ebay and right to PayPal to complete the sale. This is crazy I placed 10 different report item issues with ebay.

    Hey CD I know it's a problem but I will give it a day and then make some calls about the listing because it takes people to an outside site and that actually concerns ebay as this looks to be a possible hack of the site. It should not be possible to set up a listing to act the way this listing is acting.

    I think this ebay classifieds site used to be that craigslist ripoff called kinjii . Ebay invested some money in craigslist and then made a copy of it called kinjii and got sued over it.



    I remember one of my monthly ebay rep calls where the ebay rep was trying to sell me on the idea of ebay classifieds. As I recall I tried it briefly , there were no selling fees for listing on it but it didn't come up in search so no one really sees the listings either. Seemed pretty pointless other than you didn't have to take paypal.

    The slabbed coins are authentic so I'm guessing if you buy one and actually get something in the mail, it surely won't be the one in the picture. This is nuts. image

    Just got off the phone with ebay and their fraud department as the listing is pulling people to an outside site and because of the structure of the listing and its items. They are escalating an investigation but who knows how long it will take.

    I don't have a lot of faith in Ebay anymore as far as them making any attempt to remove stuff like this or that is counterfeit.
    Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
