Hey! SKYMAN! I'm calling YOU out!!!
Hey Sy,
Bought this coin raw about a month ago. I only had a few minutes in-between running around and I stopped at a local B&M and saw it.
To me, it looked like a Skyman coin
I was going to keep it raw, as it isn't a big value, but I had an expiring voucher I had to use so I tossed it in as a filler.
To show that I do NOT know the series, I wasn't sure if it would grade AU or MS. (Anyone want to guess, feel free. Anyone not wanting to guess, feel free to plug in the cert#, just please don't post it and spoil for anyone wanting to guess).
Sy - this post is to thank you for continuing to post your coins that you get and that you enjoy. I know that I enjoy your threads and seeing the coins! Please keep it up!

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

very sweet example by the way regardless of those hits...thanks for sharing too
I've been collecting these recently and have little to no clue on grading them.
Seems to me, luster is a grading point grabber.

I'm glad that you found this one. It's always nice to find a good looking raw coin. A few times in the last couple of months I've actually worked the other way around. For example, I was having issues finding a raw decently toned '53-S for the Dansco, so recently I got a slabbed one (PCGS MS65+) and cracked it out for the Dansco. Still, the vast majority of Franklins and Washingtons I've been buying lately for the Danscos have been raw.
Thank you for your kind words regarding the coins I've been posting lately. It's always fun to go back to the roots of coin collecting... finding nice raw coins and plugging them into an album. Again, congratulations on finding this one!!!
