Hello All,
I received an Email today with the title "You have a voice message" from a service called LINE.
I didn't open it because I have no idea who it is from.
Anybody else get a similar Email?? Is it safe to open??
TIA
Harvey

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
After a week or so break for the start of the new year, we are being plagued by Another new version of the voicemail message has arrived today that appears to come from your own domain. Lots of these pretend to come from the unity message system on your own domain. Over the last couple of days ( end January 2014) all of these upatre z-bot downloaders have changed slightly and the initial web download is an encrypted file that makes it harder for antivirus to detect them. The encrypted download file has changed from .emc then to .dat and today is a .mp3 ( which has an obviously spoofed extension, or they have found a way to embed malware inside an MP3 file ) It looks like an encrypted file the same as the previous ones but windows tries to open the file in Windows media player but can’t actually play it
I've been hit with about 3 emails a week telling me, "You are due in court date on ____insert date and place here_____", with an attachment. Of course, like anyone, I REALLY want to look....but that's how they get their mal-ware onto your system.
I delete, and take solice in the facts that, 1) No court is going to summons you with an email!, and 2) I lead a pretty boring life, and the chances of me having court dates in New York, Phoenix, and Atlanta the same week are pretty slim.
Nothing important is ever done by email. If you don't know what it is, delete it.
Best advice yet. ALWAYS delete emails you do not know, before opening them.
I would also advise not clicking the link, if there is one, in the email - but the application itself is legitimate.
