Bad Beat - BIN Sniped on eBay by like 1 or 2 mintues

MsMorrisineMsMorrisine Posts: 39,632 ✭✭✭✭✭
in the middle of what I thought was a convincing message to lower a BIN, the seller had seen my previous request and lowered it.

2 minutes later I finish typing, go to the listing and someone BIN sniped it from me. image 2 minutes and paid immediately!

first world problems.

Rookie... You need to have EBay open in 2 tabs and continually refresh the listing between typing! imageimage

It's happened to me before as well, exactly as you describe.

It would have been a cherry pick for me too.

This has also happened to me.

Another time, I talked someone into a lower price and before he could change it, 2 people bid it up way higher than the original starting bid. I mean it happened in less than 5 minutes.

once received a request to lower my BIN to a ridiculous price. Replied "sure, stand by for the change" and then went to bed.

You have to have 2 windows open, come on and 2 minutes you should have been quicker on the draw. You could also ask for an invoice adjustment. image
