I am a financial advisor and that is not useful info. I use life lock and many other forms or security. This is just me wanting to have dialog. Since I am from the 80's the term we used back then. Was take a chill pill.

Don't take it personal. Someone started a thread about where people were born and it turned into the OP being accused of trying to get people's personal information for fraud.
Obviously you are just trying to get a feel for the age range of the people on the board.

Here we go again with people who don't want to participate in a thread giving a hard time to those that do, instead of simply skipping the thread. We saw the warnings and opinions in the thread that got blown up, among others.
I decided I was just going to risk my own identity, in the biggest way, a couple of years ago when I started a Facebook account. They have settings to pretend they aren't a risk, but they change the policies and default settings all the time. Additionally, if the Chinese government can hack in to Google and steal our data that way, then I have no faith it won't/hasn't happen for FB. Given that data along with what is taken by phone apps, yahoo, trackers and any whatever else, I personally don't see this as that scary of a topic to respond to. Hopefully the guys that choose the risk and want to participate, can do so without too much hassle over simple posting at all.

Looks like not having the Harley biker issue I started the thread with. Younger group so far. I even notice I am toward the older end of the range. Keep them coming.
