I have, twice, although it was over 15 years ago. I packaged up a bunch of raw coins, and shipped them off. Within about 10 days I received an itemized list of what they would offer, along with a check. I thought the offers were fair, and accepted them as-is, both times.
As I recall, I had 15 (or maybe 30?) days to indicate if I wanted to reject any of their offers on specific coins, and I could have returned that portion of the proceeds.
The itemized list included their grade, and any issues (a few were cleaned).
Overall, a nice professional experience.

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.

Pretty much sums up my experience too, though it was more like 7-8 years ago

The only thing to worry about selling to a dealer is if the check is good. Otherwise if they meet your price there is not much more to it.
