According to the PCGS pop report, there are two AU RB Wheat cents, and 11 AU RD Wheat cents. I did not look at the Memorial cents.

The PCGS pop report also has 42 Wheat cents in less than AU50 grades (VG8 to XF45) with a RED designation. I assume these are mechanical errors that the owners have not had corrected.
  • Years ago I had an 1864 AU58RB 2C Piece that was 100% brown. I sent it in and it was corrected.
  • I have a couple ngc au58rb lincolns.

the pcgs au rb coins are mechanical errors when the rb number is used instead of the bn coin number. Not always on the label.
