I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

Not trying to go off topic, but, do these better grade coins come from mint sets or rolls?
Seems the '68-'70 mint sets I look over are mostly crap . . .

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

During those days many people were glued to the TV while it went beep beep beep and showed updates on the mission going and then on the 20th the moon landing.

If you keep your eyes out for them, there are counterstamped 1969 cents and the stamp shows the Lunar lander on the moon and the command module on the horizon and I think they're dated 7-20-69.

We were born the same year. That's how I got hooked on 1869...after I finished the 1969 Mint Set Registry, I thought about building a 100 year set...fast forward, and I am knee deep in that now.

I believe all the coins here are from sets and this will probably hold true since
rolls of '69 dated cu/ ni clad coins are elusive. There's also the fact that as poor
as the mint set coins are the roll coins were even worse.

Yes. Of course. However a large percentage of the copper still in the cello will
be tarnished because of the PVC in the plastic inner liner. Many nickels are damaged
as well. Most of these will be OK after an acetone soak.

    Same coin, different lighting.

This MS half has light cameo contrast evident through the cello.

Somewhere, I've got pictures of a PF69 * UCam Jeff I submitted a few years ago. I'll see if I can find it on my backup. The devices were full white on deep mirrors.
