    Usually. They were often given away as promos for soap companies and such.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    That's a clay marble, isn't it? Not glass?

    So... maybe Civil War era or earlier? I dunno. I do know a lot of the clay marbles are from like the 1850s or so.
