Picked up this PSA 10 on Friday. FINALLY I have another male in the house to combat the three women that live with me....LOL. Hopefully in a couple of years he can enjoy my card collection as well......just not eating it. image

His name is Baxter and he is an 8 week old weimaraner. We have been researching what dog we would like to have as a family pet and just couldn't find a better dog. My two daughters are just goo goo over him. Now we just have to survive the "puppy" stage. Here are a few pictures.

    Mark, great looking pup. We just got a Weimaraner 7 months ago. She's a year old and a very loving dog.

    Weimaraners are great dogs. Very active and love the outdoors, but some of the most loyal and faithful dogs.

    Those two pups look strikingly similar, LOL!

    Beautiful dogs! My German Shepherd passed away last year and it's almost time for me to get another one from the shelter.


    Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

    I have always wanted a Weimaraner. I have always thought they were some of the most beautiful dogs. My dad had one when he was a kid named "Bubba".
    He always tells the story that he and his brothers were hunting once and Bubba accidentally got shot. He carried the dog five miles home and balled his eyes out when he realized he had died.

    We lost our 14yr old Lab recently and just got her. I forgot how much WORK puppies are! Good Luck with your training!!!!

    Great-looking pups! I remember when my 3-year-old chocolate lab was a puppy. He did not stay small for very long, practically got huge overnight. Enjoy all the great times with them.

    Congrats on the new puppy. We have a 7-year old pug, and I was originally not in favor of getting a dog at all. I can't imagine life without ole' Winston now.

    I was surprised to see this picture, as it seemed like something was missing! Where is the case of 1975 minis??? Did the dog rip them open?

    Great looking pup!!!!! Do you plan on doing any bird hunting/training with him. Great bird dogs with training. One of my best friends out here in Az is a Weimie Breeder and a world class bird-dog trainer. I own an English Pointer that I absolutely love!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love watching her work/hunt. I never hunted in my life and I watched her slam a point at 1 month and was hooked. I do more training and field trials than hunting in the summer though.

    Got any kitties in your house? I have a beautiful golden blonde one named Jamiee (he's on my window sill looking at the birdies right now) and we also had a gray cat named Tweetie who sadly passed away about a year and a half a go. No offense but my wife a few years ago showed me who man's REAL best friend is image

    We have two cats, they were already 3 years old when we got our puppy. As such, he has grown up with them and thinks they are part of the "pack". He's never been aggressive toward them. Funny though, when I take him walking and he sees another cat, he practically wants to rip my arm off trying to go after it.

    Oh my cat is very much a ladies man! If we get any female visitors he is all over them! But whenever my wife tries to hold him he will mouth off to her like a teenage boy (though he's actually now college age in cat years)!
