i don't know anything about Mack Pogue's personal life.... other than he was a connoisseur coin collector.
But in his business life he seemed to do extremely well with Lincoln Properties over the years.

One nice thing about being an average Joe collector -- it remains highly unlikely that anyone will ever express an interest in my profession/lifestyle vis-a-vis my meager coin collection.

While I haven't read and tried to grasp all the details of this thread which seems to be heading past 100!
I think both sides should lighten up! I found it interesting to read about Pogue's business and if he choose to brand his collection with his name there is nothing wrong with available public knowledge being presented and discussed!

Your view seems to be diametrically opposed to that of others. That shouldn't be surprising given the varied backgrounds we have here.
There seems to be (at least) two schools of thought:
School A:
- Person's wallet contents is okay
- Person's business is not okay
School B:
- Person's wallet contents is not okay
- Person's business is okay

Persons wallet is cut and dry. Okay with or not ok, whatever your opinion is fine.
I differentiate and draw a line between a person's business and a person's personal business. The latter is out of bounds imo.
The OP's link looks like something you'd look up and research to see if you wanted to invest with or be associated with a company.
