How does a EBay seller get away with not accepting Paypal?

Also what the heck is Propay?

They get away with it by having an accepted alternative, which propay seems to be.
Unknown to many, paypal is NOT mandatory....but a certain acceptable method of payment is.

I also believe a seller can acceptably take credit cards (ie...they are a business that takes credit cards anyway and allow on ebay).

I don't know what propay is exactly, but it would appear to be an alternative.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Years ago, when ProPay first started, I joined. Months later, they booted me and closed my account because I sold coins and bullion. I still have balance of 600 some-odd-dollars they've been unable to figure out how to get back to me. At this point I just let the emails keep coming regarding my balance to see if they are ever going to start trying to take any of it. Should that happen, I'll finally expend some time and energy going bat-sh*t-crazy on them.

feepay demands that you be able to accept electronic payments over the web in order to sell there. It does not have to be paypal. Not surprisingly, every other form of payment they recommend is more expensive than paypal. huh.

ok. i searched using the advanced search page, US coin forum only. search the term "propay" in "body" ONLY. tons of threads pull up. threads where the word "propay" exists somewhere within the post(s) of the threads shown in the results.
