I received the Statue of Liberty Half from your generous Memorial Day Give Away yesterday afternoon and like I
said I was going to give it to my nephew Eric, anyhow I wasn't sure when I would see him, BUT yesterday evening
my wife said she had to go over to her moms, So I said Hey I want to go (SHE LOOKED AT ME REAL WIERD) and
said Really,
, anyhow they all live in an apartment building where Eric's Dad is the manager, and he lives in one
apt with his girlfriend and Grandma live's in another apt and little Eric live's with his mom and 2 older half brothers
in another apt, needless to say its a real awkward situation and always full of drama.
Any how I've helped little Eric complete a circulated Jefferson Set, and got him started on a Kennedy Half set that
he's about half way through now...........So were kicking back at grandmas house and in come's little Eric, this is
the only sanctuary for this little guy and is off limits to the drama & BS between his mom & dad and is strictly
enforced by grandma, So I give him the Statue of Liberty Half and his eye's immediately lit up and he has a ear
to ear grin and he is sincerely jazzed up, I get a big hug and so does his aunt, and he says thank you, thank you,
and I tell him, you have to thank MGLICKER, and he says with bright eyes and a big smile "Tell MGLICKER THANK
YOU !!!.
Anyways he kind of got sad all of a sudden and I asked him what's wrong, and he says he has to put it in his safe
and I said ya I was with you and your dad when you bought it at Harbor Freight and he says ya I remember but I
had to hide it because one of his brothers got in it a couple years ago and stole a bunch of ASE's his other aunt had
given him when silver was 40/oz, and he asked me to help him put it in his safe, So I'm thinking, what, do I need a
shovel, so we go over to his apt and I say hi to his mom and he shows her his newest treasure and she says put it
in your safe, and he says I am and uncle Steve is gonna help, and she looks at me and smiles and said Have Fun
but you guys hurry up before your brothers get home, so we go in his bedroom and he points to a BIG castle he has
built from leggo's, and he says lets get to work and he starts to carefully disassemble sections of the castle and hands
them to me and I set them aside and he hands me another section and so on till we get to another little building inside
of the castle and he begins to take that one apart and there's his safe and he pulls it out and opens it while I respectfully
look away so I won't see the combination.
He gets into the safe and apologizes to me for rushing things and quickly shows me some of his treasures all the while he's
got an ear out for his brothers, so he deposits his newest treasure and we quickly rebuild the fortress.
Before we left, Eric gave us a big hug again and said to Thank MGLICKER
I also want to Thank You again, for your generosity and because I haven't had that much fun since I was Eric's age (12)

I was in the camp wanting MGlicker to be forbidden from starting his usual multitude of new, useless threads (see OFR). I've now changed my mind, he can start as many giveaway threads as he wants.
Almost didn't want it to end.
