You have to marvel at the coins you find on the bay of E. Today as I scanned some items, this one popped up.

A note to those that actually handle coins with care, do not look.

    Eew. I've seen some gnarly looking fingers in photos, but this guy takes it to a new level. image

    Edit to add: this is one reason I often wear white gloves for "coin in hand" shots. My fingers arent that hideous, but still, when it's in closeup, who want's to see any portion of the seller's skin?

    LM,,,perhaps it was found at a dig, or detecting, and he dug it out bare handed 5 ft down.

    That was my first impression of the coin itself. Just doesn't look right by the horses tail in the fields . But I am not any where near an expert nor do I play one here..

    Here is my question: Why would you knowingly use your dirty hand in a picture to sell an "uncirculated" coin? Have to move it fast? Too fast to wash hands first? Considering his name contains the word "bargain" spelled incorrectly and he lives in a town mostly filled with retirees, I am hoping that this wasn't a five dirty fingered discount from the locals. Hopefully he is an estate sale shopper, considering the other items for sale. I am also guessing that you will not find him on the roster of the ANA or PNG.

    I think its safe to say the seller is a "Digger"
