Would you pay for a user ignore button?
I think I might!
Perhaps I'm getting ornery as I get older, but there seems to be a number of forum members lately that I'd like to be able to avoid seeing their ill considered comments. It might be worth a small membership fee just to have this feature.
In scanning older threads regarding this feature to discover it wasn't available, I saw this amusing thread where I mistakenly thought I'd run into a young Tom Bush
But then I saw old bear saying this:
If I had an ignore button, I would
use it on myself. But then I would never
know what I was saying.
and had to crack a smile.........

Is there an "app" in this?
<< <i>The inimitable Catbert and VirginiaCollector have a point. Talk to Mr. Willis. You may be able to monetize this feature.

The app would squirt mustard in your eyes every time a member signs on you don't want to see!

See, I am an American and too opinionated, stupid, and helpless to control myself if I see anything I don't like.
Haysoos! This idea pops up regularly on ALL forums.

how about a cross between killer klowns from outer space & various mustard brand bottles? don't forget some of the shorter-rounder bottled types and the large bulk-sized items. like gallon sized mustard bottles. can't think of the darn word just now.

Actually, with a certain member continuously posting so many off topic political rants as raves about the unfair system/government, inflation, politics and on and on and on.....The above thought as crossed my mind.
JMHO.
I suppose it is theoretically possible that I might miss a brilliant comment in one of them, but based on a reasonable sample size I think that's pretty unlikely.

<< <i>Honestly I do not even read the posts if they are by certain participants. It's free and it saves me a lot of wasted time.

Pretty much this, although the list is short. I know their avatars and scroll right on by their comments.

I'll support the ignore button only if I can see who's blocking me.

THAT, SIR, IS NOT A GOOD REASON AND JODIE FOSTER DOESN'T THINK SO EITHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree. I'd would also be afraid that I would miss some very entertaining drama here.
