Yep. Totally blind, not umpire/grader bad call blind. Can't see them. Can feel them, as long as they're raw.

Interesting read. Hard to understand a blind collector's interest. But, then it is something that we all
come into contact with everyday. Paper money might not interest him at all as there is no tactile interaction
with the paper. Thus no imput as to what is on it.

That is an incredible amount of "cataloguing". I never imagined how much verbiage one could or would have to use to actually describe the coin. Not to mention any dings, nicks, scrapes, along all the devices or in the field, along the edge , etc., etc., There's color, reflectivity, wear, and so much about numismatics that people with vision take for granted. Luster being the first thing most of us are BLIND to in photographs. Some of us see it and know it, but most miss that, especially subdued by crusty toning.

Thanks for sharing this. Opened my eyes, as do many things, every day.
