Three Washington Quarter Varieties Added To My Set.
Start off thanking Ron (Bochiman) Who knows my passion for the Series and sent me 2 1945 S Quarters one of which was this MINOR DDO. Now I do collect the Minor DDO in my own series so to get this example was Very Cool.
Of course the Grade of AU-58 (Both coins) sure makes me wonder but thats life. They also do NOT have a seperate Pops for the Minors which for 24 bucks you would think they could.

Second up is another 1945 S DDO 102 that I found on Ebay while on Vacation and was not totally sure of, the coin was relisted and I asked Cris(Casman) to buy it for the 6 bucks. He sent the coin when I got back from Vacation and its only the 5th known example Second Highest graded XF 40 and featured in Coin facts.

Third One is the 1943 DDO 103 that I had to send back to get the 103 Variety Put on the label so figured a Tru-view was in order. This is the VF 20

Those DDO's look great and I know how much knowledge you have in this series and sharing those photo's helps me understand it more also. You are inspirational to me.

This is my Washington Quarter Proof Variety Registry Set
You have been nothing but a class act on the boards and so when I thought they might be something more than a normal quarter, I wanted to make sure you had a chance for them for your collection. I, too, would have thought it was more than AU58.....maybe some day
For the note, I, personally, believe that Tom has treated me MORE than fair on the coin/process and he has gone through a lot to get it certified. Very good guy to deal with. Very fair and easy going.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Nice to know someone was thinking of you and your series.

Bochiman if you are going to help Tom with his quarters......you have to help me with my dimes.
That's a rare one.

<< <i>Congratulations on an attractive grouping of Washington varieties. I particularly like the looks of the first '45-S.
Careful.....have an, almost, identical NON-variety one still available (was going to be in a dansco, but it is in plastic now, so not worth cracking)

I paid up on the 1943 103 at alittle over 400 bucks with Grading but still feel its a Great Coin to Add to the Set. Ron the other 1945 s That I sent back to you is Actually the Inverted S and Yes the toning on that one is exactly the same.
I would like to try and send off a few to CAC and see what they think and Its a great series to work on and even suffering a small case of burnout I Will Always Love the Washington Quarters. Enjoy
