Roll Call - Central States / CSNS 2012 Show

Did a search for any thread on the upcoming show and all appeared to be for last year's show. Hope I'm not duplicating any current thread.

Who's going and do you have a particular objective in mind?

I will be there for the public hours on Thursday & Friday. Would like to have an opportunity to say hello to a few who post here!

Target coin(s) will be something for the type set. It always will be something that grabs my attention as I don't like to have a preset goal. I also plan on selling a few pieces of mine if the price is right. If not, they'll go in a Heritage auction.

There's a Hooter's just over a mile south of the convention center, but if you want better beer and better food, there's the Ram Brewery & Restaurant near the Ikea (also just over a mile), and the Westwood Tavern about half-way to the Hooter's, near Costco.

I plan on being there for a couple of the Civil War presentations on Friday and Saturday and to view some of the CWTs being auctioned. I'm expecting to bid on a few. I'm looking forward to the exhibits, talks, meeting folks and of course, the hunt.

I will be taking a break from taking a break from coins and attending for one afternoon.

I will have an assortment of dirty gold coins for show-and-tell, some high grade (read: not dirty) gold coins, and some odds and ends to sell (mostly gold).

I hope to see as many forum members as possible...and then return promptly to my hiatus.

Zinc with silver plating. Some of them do get very attractively toned.
