OT...eBay Bucks Quadrupled Today & Tomorrow!

I was going to purchase an item on eBay today anyway, so it was nice of them to send me an email today saying they will quadruple my eBay Bucks rewards on any purchase over $200.
(They also are doubling EBB rewards for 2 days only on purchases between $100. - $199.
)
It's about time they gave me a little break! Check your email in-boxes for their letter, if you haven't yet.

Maybe they have a software routine that sends them to people who have slowed down their buying a bit.

In my case, it's probably because of what Bryce said though: "Maybe they have a software routine that sends them to people who have slowed down their buying a bit?"

Here's how to make sure you are eligible to receive the promotional offer:
First make sure you are signed up for ebay bucks. If you are, you will see a line item on the left side of your My Ebay pages that says "ebay Bucks (0.00)." The amount in parenthesis is the amount you have earned this period. If you click on it you will see the next payout date. If you have not signed up for ebay bucks do so. to sign up click on "customer support" and type in "ebay bucks" and you should eventually get to a link that allows you to sign up.
Once signed up for ebay bucks, from "My Ebay" page click on the "Account" tab right under your user ID and select "communications preferences." Then scroll down to "Promotions and Surveys" and click "show." Make sure at least the second and third boxes are checked. If not, check them and click "save."
You are now eligible to receive coupons and ebay buck promos, but no guarantee you will be selected. At least now you will be considered. Happy Hunting.
Also note that while bullion is exempt from paying out ebay bucks, many ebay sellers will list bullion in a different coin category to capture your business. Appears the trigger for not paying out on bullion is through the category selected, not the title or description, so don't rule out looking at bullion.

<< <i>I didn't get nothing. Might have to do with spending $100 in ebay bucks last week lol. >>
Yeah, me too. I had $154 in Ebay Bucks last period - all spent on Apr 4. I got several of the "emails" during the first quarter, pretty much all that were mentioned here in fact. But I didn't get today's offer...

Of course, last month, I did use a couple....I really liked the 10% one....better than quadbucks....by 2%
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
bucks that you would earn if the purchase was made? Do they quadruple the amount after you obligate and push "buy now" ? The reason for the question is I was interested in a certain
item but it only showed a 2% (normal percentage) e-bucks reward. Thanks for the help and clarification.
Starts at 8:00 today through midnight tomorrow.

<< <i>Just reread the email. 50% more and 100% more. So 3% or 4% instead of 2%. Now I'm jealous of the rest of you.
I didn't even get that one, so I'm jelly of you.
I got one the other day that was $5 off a purchase from the eBay mobile app... so I took the time to download the app and buy a cheaper coin that was on my watch list through my phone. When I was paying through the app there was no $5 off coupon to apply, but I bought the item anyways. I called eBay about the matter and they said the offer was not a genuine offer from eBay but was instead a scam email. Looked 100% legit to me so that was a bummer (and sort of cheated me out of $5).

Then I realized I already maxed out my ebay bucks in April with just such an offer.

Does anybody have an answer for my question? I'm a little confused because I've never received this offer before and I'm not sure how it works. Thanks

You should see something like this while viewing the listing: "eBay bucks, Pay today and earn $50.50 in eBay Bucks. See conditions
For the next 37 hours, this amount includes BONUS Offer"
If you don't see this either you are not eligible for the promotion (weren't selected) or the item is in a category that is not eligible for ebay bucks.

As usual, Ebay's timing on these offers is impeccable! I just won two coins at auction last night (first buys in a while). I have nothing on my watch list that is ending today. I get these offers either a day or two late or a day or two early!!!
