Picked up more Morgans (Another GTG, grades posted)

This lot was 4 for $235. The fourth coin ('00-S) is currently soaking in acetone due to some serious PVC issues. Pics were pretty bad, but I think I'll do well. I'll probably send the '88-O and '99-S in, and maybe the '00-S if it comes out well.

    I can't pass up an opportunity to make myself look bad!

    I'm going with MS-63. The mark on the cheek on the 99-S may keep it from 64.

    It is impossible to tell from this lighting. I know everyone wants their coins to look better, but if you want a true opinion, you need to put it under some nice white light, and let us see the coin. That tungsten type light always hides things, especially hairline light cleanings. (Not that you are using that light, but it is subdued by some means.

    There is no way to hide anything under this lighting below! (I am not implying that you are hiding anything, just that it is a lot easier to see the coins surfaces.)

    What's wrong with the coin below?

    That's great news! How bad is that whack to the right of the nose?

    I am saying no way that coin is a 63, but I have been wrong at least once before, and it cost me a hundred bucks! I of course am open to a friendly wager on this one also. image

    No way I am going against Golden Eye ever again.
