Maybe a Rose-toned one will get into the Hall of Fame.

Just taking a rain check until they show up on Ebay!

What do you think these will sell for once they hit the field? Just a ballpark figure will do.
  • MsMorrisineMsMorrisine Posts: 36,018 ✭✭✭✭✭
at least a couple of months of profits for 70 first strikes on ebay, and that's as sure as a diamond is hard.

Although that could change if too many fans run into the field.

Rain delay almost over, so "take me out to the ball game!

Despite that wicked curve, the reverse of that coin is likely to get a hit! But the obverse should be a no hitter.

I believe this thread has "Hall Of Fame" potential, in fact the HOF may waive the 5 year waiting period for it's induction.

The first coins sold today in Baltimore and are probably being graded now.

Tomorrow on eBay, we will probably see which of these coins are rookies, veterans, or all stars.

70 is a pretty slow speed for a pitch.

I predict a grand slam for themimage

I guess anyone who gets all three denominations and wants to resell them is looking for a Triple Play.
And I ain't lying this time.
  • There's nothing special about this coin. In ten years you'll be lucky to get a few dollars over spot. Not worth the surcharge. eBay is littered with 5$ gold commemoratives listed anywhere from 400-1000 and nobody is buying them.
