It seems as though APMEX changed its categories in the Ebay store and hardly anything qualifies

Now I can see other categories .

After I clicked that 10$ commemorative link all of APMEX items went back the way they were.

I entered through the APMEX store and everything wasn't eligible . Everything was listed in bullion and the bucks wouldn't work

More for the non active accounts to wake them up. Open a second Ebay account and don't use it, they will come knockin.

I have a very active account and a dormant account. The last two quad promotions I got for my active account but not my dormant account.

What qualifies as being active enough to qualify for these promotions? Is it a purchasing and/or selling amount that has to be attained monthly? Thanks

I certainly don't know what qualifies. All I know is that my dormant account, which I use to make a purchase less than once per year doesn't get any of these promotions, but my regular account does. I only made the statement to debunk the myth that only dormant accounts are getting these promotions.

I got the offer today on all 3 accounts.

I'm out of money to spend though. This is a 2 day offer so it might be possible to execute a best offer and get the bonus even if the seller is slow to respond.

I remember reading somewhere on the ebay site in the past that ebay bucks are not earned on "Make Offer" purchases. I do not know that this is still true, but should be looked into before making such a purchase.

ok, good to know. My buying account is fairly active, for my standards of buying on there anyway, but I guess 3-5 buys a month isn't enough to qualify.

Just curious, is anybody getting some of these deals but not all of them? Or are all of us either getting all or none? My main account has received every one of these 8% and 10% deals. My dormant account has received none. If that is the case with everyone, then, in my opinion, they are using an existing list of usernames that doesn't change. Why you are or are not on it is a mystery.

i suspect it may be random. I've seen no method in the couple of accounts my family has. Don't forget to check your account email as well, I once got one there but never got the ebay message.

We do know that they apparently just love Bronco.

Offer is for two days, hopefully they are still sending them out.

I have received a bunch of quad offers, however, since I have hit my quota for the quarter, I have received one. I know it wouldnt matter if I did, just saying for those trying to figure out why some get invites and some dont.

I found if you spend less you get the bonus bucks offers. It's an incentive to lure you in to make a purchase.
If you are buying anyway, then you need no incentive.

I have gotten all of the offers that have been posted on this board. Myactivity level on ebay fluctuates. Everytimei havesaid i am done, i get another offer! 10% off/10 % ebay bucks/ quad ebay bucks. And two quad bucks i didnt use.

Somebody should sell something into the quad bucks . Silver is up over 21 today the bucks are falling from heaven. Post a lot on ebay with a strong price and put BUCKS in the title

10% is better than quad bucks (8%).

Last 10% (a month ago?) I hesitated and didn't see anything coin related I wanted at the time. Didn't buy anything.
This time, decided I wanted a lens and almost got it with the quad bucks. Glad I didn't. Waited and got the 10%.

It's too bad that it doesn't count for bullion (I have no real idea why the distinction on that for ebay.....).

Much of that has to do with the new Ebay preferred sellers like Apmex. To give them heavily discounted fees, the Ebay bucks got schmiesed.

All these quad bucks offers are going to marginalize the program for some. Rewards are capped at $500 per quarter I believe more than some will start to hit the limit before the quarter ends.

Just surfing the ebay listings today (Mint baseball coin frenzy day) and noticed this gold baseball coin has the quadruple (8%) ebay bucks. Didn't get any notification of a quad special and don't see the special on any other listings. Anyone else seeing quad bucks on this one? Listing is an auction that ends tomorrow, could this be a glitch indicating tomorrow is quad buck day and that my account will be receiving the special offer tomorrow? Hope so!
