Well I assumed this coin would stir up a thing or two when I purchased it although I honestly didnt give it much thought. I just purchased this at our local coin show. My messages on ebay have been blowing up ever since. Looks like it attracted some attention after all.

Remember that person that once posted on the message forums about how proud he was that he used to be able to AT coins in the old PCGS rattlers? I do not know if he still posts or not, and I do not recall who it was, but that is what I think of when I see that coin.

There's a fine line between spotty and attractive toning. Or something like that. I'm not impressed with this coin at all.

Manofcoins still posts occasionally and he is a good guy. Two 500 posts resulted from his "experiment". That record will stand for a long, long time.

Looks like it was a BIN but when the interest got heavy, changed to auction.

I wasn't going to be the first to say it, but I agree. I would bet good money the coin did not look like that when it was graded. Same goes for the Morgan.

The Morgan has an identical color palette but is from a totally different submission. Those types of colors aren't exceptional for the Morgan but are very unusual for the Peace. Neither smells good.

I would feel better, just slightly, were they from the same submission. But, either way, these are not coins I would purchase. I was wondering about this Peace $ yesterday/last night. Seeing the other, the Morgan, is like...stereo. Same. Pass.
