My photobucket account is gone -it's back they changed my username

I have the free service. Tried to login multiple times, and tried their automated recovery but no luck. I have now emailed them directly. Nothing has changed on my end.

Anyone else haveing an issue currently?

But forgot login and password... took awhile to figure it out

First time I was asked to login in a few years....

OK I got it back by chossing the option 'I don't know my password' and photobucket emailed a password reset to my email address on file.

What's different now is that they gave me my username (which was my complete home email address), but they have truncated my username after the 'at sign'.

Must be a new security measure...

I suppose with a complete email address someone could get the IP address, then the physical address just like what police can do!

More likely they don't want you to use special characters like @ or # any more in order to prevent SQL injections.
