Is this a die crack? Has anyone seen one on a 1950 D Franklin like this before?

The area in question is on the jacket above the W in "WE" and extends east into the U in "TRUST". Any info from those with extensive die knowledge would be appreciated. I know there is something like this on a 1952 Franklin known as the "scarface", but havent heard about anything on this particular date.
