<< <i>If they have no record of ever receiving the package (ie initial scan upon acceptance) then it is your word vs. USPS system not having a record of the package.
I'm not sure if this matters much or not, but it is Justin's word AND webdesigner3300's vs. the "USPS system." Justin has documentation with WD admitting he received the card via USPS mail. I would at least try to pursue the insurance claim using WD's documentation to attempt to prove it was mailed.
Any updates on this matter? This is the most bizarre shipping mishap I've ever heard of. >>
I would no doubt try to take up the matter with the post office but think they have an out by it not being in their system.
I wouldn't be too concerned with GSP or this complicated story about shipping the card to Canada and a scheme or whatever ......
Tell ebay you sent this man the wrong card and he is refusing to send it back (actually, he went and sold it). I'm sure this has happened before. I wouldn't tell the post office about this whole thing. Don't tell ebay about your theory about the Canadian or whatever.

Just go after the *ucker.
Also, I'm sorry this happened to you. >>
I like this idea. >>
I did too. I just got off the phone with ebay. They are investigating this webdesigner character and they said they will take action against him if they rule in my favor. They also want me to file against this person with ic3.gov. Has anyone had any dealings or results moving toward this route? He ebay rep stated that I can be compensated if I take routes moving through ic3.gov.
At this point, this seems like the best plan of action. Chasing my tail and dealing with webdesigner seem to just be a loosing battle and a waste of time.

I'll update everyone when I know more.
Thanks again for keeping up, everyone.
