Label has a mechanical error--

This is a no drapery example.

Another forum member hinted about this to me in the shop today. I was wondering what it was that he wouldn't tell me about. Not much slips through the cracks on eBay these days in the U.S. Coins category, and I told him not to get too exuberant about hoping for a score. This is one filthy

rare bird.

Think it might merit some conservation ?

I think the contrast has been boosted in the scan-----I think it won't be quite so dark in hand.

That being said, it looks sharper than many AU's that I've seen. Maybe I will resubmit.

Reconsideration, with a request for an acetone bath. An AU upgrade would be a nice thought.

WOW ! Very nice pick-up. Way under graded and mis-attributed. (Although technichly, it does have a reeded edge).--Please update us after the resubmission.
