Unfortunately I do not have a picture, but my favorite 'slab error' has to be a Liberty Seated dime owned by Gerry Fortin, the creator of the Seated Dime website (Seated Dime Varieties). It is labeled "1873-CC No Arrows", and grades, as I recall, VF-20. The problem is, the coin exhibits very bold arrows at the date, taking it from one of the most rare and sought after coins in American numismatics to just another common coin. When Gerry showed the coin to me, he proudly held it up for inspection and declared "Just me and Eliasberg!".
They that can give up essential Liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither Liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin
