Does an Ebay seller know the bidders maximum bids during the auction?
I do not sell on EBAY. I am just curious.

No your max bid is concealed from the seller and other bidders to keep things fair.

Good point, and I am sure that this happens.
On eBay it makes sense to be a low ball bidder.
